Alus Med introduces SafeBreath, a new range of protection masks, featuring 2-ways protection filters that can be disposed of after use. This design offers a reduction in hazardous waste of over 90%, compared to normal 3-ply masks.
Engineered and manufactured in Italy, SafeBreath offers very high comfort and wearability, allowing users to avoid touching it during their service hours. The tightness on the face and the comfortable fit are guaranteed by the optimal ergonomics obtained by conforming a soft copolymer.
The mask does not contain glass fibers or phthalates, offers minimal resistance to respiratory flow, a high filtering capacity, and breathability. All components are designed to be longlasting, easy to clean, and sanitize even with steam.
Professional, sustainable
Safebreath is not a PPE, but a Class 1 medical device. Certified as a medical Mask type IIR, it filters > 98% of microorganisms
and it is resistant to body fluids and liquid splashes.
The filtration material meets the requirements defined in the UNI EN 14683:2019 standard norms on filtering capacity (> 98%), breathability (<40 Pa/cm2) and splash resistance (> 16 kPa).
The filter is bidirectional and protects both, the mask user and the people near him while in use. Used filters can be easily replaced, reducing the environmental biohazard impact by 90% against a normal 3-ply mask.
Safe and stylish
SafeBreath was designed, engineered and is produced entirely in Italy by Terenzi, in cooperation with the award-winning study DesignGroup Italia. The mask is transparent, showing the expression of its wearer; it is perfectly adhering to the face due to its soft, adaptive, certified co-polymer material.
The mask doesn’t touch chin and nose of the user, and the adjustable elastic loops do not pull the hair, thus reducing the need for a user to touch the mask while in use.
SafeBreath comes in several colors: white, green, purple, light blue, blue and black. Filters can be replaced easily by unlocking the coloured seal, and the same seals can be changed according to the fashion of the day..
