Disinfecting hospital rooms and wards is a challenge. Autonomous, self-driving efficient robots can do the job, with no manpower and great efficiency
Ultraviolet UV-C light technology
Alus Med AMY sterilizing robot kills germs in the environment by decomposing their DNA
structures, preventing and reducing the spread of viruses, bacteria and other harmful
microorganisms. The robot has two working modes: air circulating, with an internal UV-C and HEPA filtration system, and external disinfection and sterilization using its compressed-UV lights tower. It is able to move autonomously for timed, fixed-point and multi-track mobile disinfection and sterilization in large areas.
Disinfection by superfine dry fog
The same robotic autonomous platform of UV-C supports a more traditional disinfection unit based on a superfine mist of disinfectiong agent. Again the operation is un-manned and automatic. The fog does not wet any surface and the chemical agent is non-toxic.
